alpannoniaŽ - walking without borders
Hiking without frontiers. A hiking route full of variety and attractions runs from the Semmering hills to the Pannonian plain – the alpannonia® trail. This memorable 120 km walk largely runs along hilltops and is rich in panoramic views. It was created in cooperation between the Austrian provinces of Burgenland, Lower Austria and Styria, and neighbouring Hungary. The many connecting paths and public roads make it easy to join the route at different stages. Transport for you and your luggage to and from the main trail can be arranged.
