Geschriebenstein-Irottkö nature reserve
The Geschriebenstein-Irottkö nature park straddling the Hungarian border, with its 500 km of signed trails, is an Eldorado for hikers, bikers and Nordic walkers.
Geschriebenstein – Burgenland’s highest hill (884 m) – is in the middle of this nature reserve. You can look out across the wide expanses of the Pannonian Plain from the observation tower. And to get close to nature, take one of the paths and interpretive trails along the border.
